We are able to provide a service to sign statutory declarations for existing clients and serving military or emergency service personnel from our office in Wallingford.
The cost – which is set by law – is;
- £5 for each statutory declaration
- £2 for each exhibit to a statutory declaration.
The £5 only covers the ‘taking’ of the statutory declaration, which is to hear the declaration of the person making it ;
“I solemnly and sincerely declare that this is my name and handwriting and that the contents of this my declaration are true”
and then signing the form.
Please note that if you do require any further advice from us beyond just signing the declaration, then this is charged on an hourly rate of £200+VAT.
We can also provide certified copies of documents, which is charged at £15+VAT per signature, plus 20p per page copied beyond the first page.
Please note that we retain copies of all documents that we certify on our electronic case management system.
